Upgrade to Solman 7.1 from Solman 7.01

Dear experts,

 

 

For the upgrade to Solman 7.1, I saw there were high impacts for ChaRM and Service Desk !

 

My questions are:

 

What are these impacts ?

 

I saw there was CRM Web UI to manage tickets, is it mandatory to install CRM to use it ?
