Charm, Cross Object Lock and critical objects for SAP R3 4.7

Hi Expert,

I have SM 7.1 SP11 and my SAP r3 landscape (version 4.7). I'd like to activate charm, cross object locking and critical object functionalities  for my R3 landscape. I looked for sap notes with information about minimalrequirements for activate the above functionalities in the ECC systems.

Please can anyone tell me if I can activate the above functionalities for the SAP R3 4.7 systems?

Can I activate cross object lock and critical object without activating the Charm?
