Agent on Fly - Host Name not detected

HI All ,

I want to enable the agent on features , so I have updated the logical host names on the host file of the physical server and restarted the Hostagent and SMD agent .

But the newly added logical host names are not detected by the Hostagent . When I ran the Managed system config for physical server and check the Display resulting host , I could not find the newly added host names .

Do I need to add the logical host names anywhere else ?

Could you please advise , how to achieve it .
