Disk error on SolMan - VMWare

Dear experts,

We're trying to install Solution Manager 7.1 (SYBASE ASE 15.7) on a Virtual Server Windows 2008 R2 running on VMWare.

This is for testing purpose.

The problem is that the installation finished sucessfully, but when we try to use the system we get a lot of commit errors and dumbs.

Checking the Sybase log located in  "sybase\SAM\ASE-15_0\install", we found a lot of Disk error.

The operating system team say they don't see any problem in the Disk or in the Server itself.

Can anybody advise me what could be the problem?

Is there any recommendation on install Solution Manager on VMWare environment?

Any help is welcome.

Junior V.
