Turn off CSOL for Defects (SMTM) or Project Level

Hi

I've got quite an urgent question I hope someone can assist me with.

We have CSOL activated (which is extremely useful), HOWEVER, we do NOT want defects in ChaRM using this functionality. We have copied transaction type SMTM to ZMTM. Can we turn off Cross System Object Lock for ZMTM transaction type?

If not, how about turning off CSOL for a specific project?

I really hope the above is possible.
