How to set custom alerts in SolMan based on availability of data in file path?

Hi Experts,

I need to customize my solution such that a mail is triggered from SOLMAN to the recipient only when data is present in the given file path (instead of going with standard SAP provided time intervals such as 20 minutes or 30 minutes).

Any suggestions?
